a decent stay with a few quirks

the staff were so friendly and helpful! they gave us great recommendations for local spots. the riad had a peaceful vibe inside. breakfast was excellent, and it changed every day. the room was a good size, and the bathroom attached was also a good size.
I don't recommend buying extra services from the hotel. For example, a taxi from the street to the airport cost 120 mad. we could even negotiate to 80 mad but from the hotel, i was charged 180 mad! noise every night came from a ground stage. It sounded like a big mill machine grinding something from 9 pm to 10 pm.

the staff was attentive. they helped arrange taxi transfers and offered Tourist Information. breakfast on the rooftop terrace was enjoyable. i appreciated the assistance in arranging local transportation.
the walls between rooms seemed THIN. i could hear noises from neighboring rooms, which sometimes bothered me.

The staff provided maps and clear directions. the breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, and local pastries. my room had a small balcony. i found the interior courtyard very peaceful. The fountain added to this ambiance.
the alley leading to the hotel was dimly lit, though i never felt unsafe.

The riad featured a rooftop terrace with seating areas. air conditioning was effective. It kept the room at a comfortable temperature. the courtyard had traditional moroccan design elements and provided shade during the day.

The staff arranged transportation to the airport for me. daily housekeeping was thorough. It kept the room clean. upon arrival, i received a welcome drink and a brief tour of the hotel.
